Main aims: to promote dialogue and understanding. CCJ encourages Jews and Christians to appreciate and respect each other's distinctive beliefs whilst recognising their common ground.

Faiths and beliefs currently involved: Jewish and Christian

Activities: CCJ is a national organisation, running a variety of projects.  Here in Birmingham we meet roughly once a month, usually at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre on the Bristol Rd. Our topics range from music and art, through theology and history, to issues of current concern. Some evenings are formal lectures, others informal discussion.  Once a year we have a joint meeting with the Birmingham Council of Faiths.

Membership Policy: Our meetings are open to all, of any faith or none.  We ask for a donation of £2 to cover our costs.  It is also possible to join the national organisation.

Annual subscription: £20.
