Northstaff_mapMain aims: To provide a 'hub' for faith-access and engagement. To create opportunities for inter faith encounter and education. To be a unified voice of the faith sector for the benefit of the media.

Faiths and beliefs currently involved: Baha'i; Christian; Hindu; Jewish; Muslim; Pagan; Quaker; Sikh; Unitarian.

Activities: Multi faith dialogue, discussion meetings on religious topics; discussion meetings on social issues; inter faith awareness raising; promoting good community relations; making statements on current issues; prayer/worship; social gatherings; shared meals; diversity training; sending speakers to schools; educational events/exhibitions; assisting on multi faith civic ceremonies; visiting places of worship; providing advice to public bodies; acting as a consultative forum on local issues for local government; sending representatives to serve on local strategic initiatives; involvement in regeneration/neighbourhood renewal work.
