Prior to WMFF's establishment as a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee, the WMFF Chairs and Project Management Group provided effective leadership and management to the Executive, enabling them to fulfil their responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity, and ensuring that appropriate decisions are correctly made. With WMFF's new status, a Board of Directors was established.

Chair - Gerald Nembhard
Gerald’s background is in Community outreach & development, Equality & Diversity, Governance and Organisational Development. He has helped many organisations across the West Midlands over the last 25 years in improving their effectiveness and capacity to deliver more effectively.
He is Faith Development Officer for Walsall MBC and is Secretary to the Council of Black Led Churches in Birmingham. He has also Chaired the Perry Barr (constituency) Multi Faith Network, a forum he helped set up.
Vice-Chair & Chair of WMFF Executive Committee - Jatinder Birdi
Jatinder Birdi has an Accountancy background and has been self employed since 2000. He has been the Chairperson of the Warwick District Faiths Forum (WDFF) since its formation in 2006. “It has been an honour and privilege for me to have got to know so many people and to learn about different faiths, traditions, beliefs and cultures.
"There needs to be more awareness raised of faiths to assist people in understanding other people and from this all will benefit.” - J. Birdi.
Secretary - Revd Colin Marsh
Colin Marsh is Secretary for the West Midlands Region Churches Forum and joined the WMFF executive in 2006. An ordained minister of the Church of England he is also Ecumenical Development Officer for Birmingham Churches Together and works across an increasingly diverse Christian community in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Previously Colin has worked in churches in Liverpool and Zambia and holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh for his research into Christian partnership relationships.
Treasurer - Linda Williams
Linda has worked for over 15 years in Business Management, including the specialist areas of Commercial Management, Business Development and Human Resource Management. For the past 10 years, Linda has also been involved in the Third Sector, initiating, developing and delivering a number of services and projects for older people, community representatives and vulnerable adults. Linda is a committed Christian and is part of a mandated leadership team in her local Church.
Marketing Officer - Mohammed Jamil
Mohammed Jamil has 25 years experience of all aspects of community work. He has an M.A in equal opportunities and heads an equality and diversity consultancy. He has twice been recognised as a community champion by the department for education and skills (DFES) for ‘Ethnic Minority' and ‘Disability' issues. He has also won the U.K award for organising the most inclusive activity and has been involved in diversity initiatives at the European parliament (Brussels, Belgium) and council of Europe (Strasbourg, France).
